I have been a performer for 30 years in Chicago. I was an ensemble member with the Neo-Futurists, performing in Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind and many of their prime-time shows for just over two decades, and have acted with several storefront and alternative theater companies over the years.
I also play the accordion. I play solo at private events, bars, restaurants, farmers’ markets, and sometimes I just busk on the streets of Chicago. I am also a member of the band The Crooked Mouth.
I have worked as a fitness instructor since the late 80s, and started personal training in 1992. In 2014, I got my Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from UIC, and started my own practice, Heather Riordan Wellness, where I offer nutrition, fitness and health coaching services.
And finally, I’m a Universal Life Church minister, officiating weddings in Chicago since 1993.
I live with my fiancé, Dez, in Andersonville. I have a pretty swell life.
